FACULTY OF EDUCATION

Education is the process of all round development which consist of passages of human being from infancy to maturity and the process where by a person adopts himself gradually in various ways to his physical, social and spiritual environment. Education is important from various points of view.
Educational Technology is the systematic application of scientific knowledge Resources and Man, Machine tools to teaching, learning and condition of learning to improve the efficiency of teaching and training. To produce high quality, efficient and specialized teachers for higher secondary education the MIT established the department of education in the year 2005 in which B.Ed started. It is one year course affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar and Approved by National Council for Teachers Education, Jaipur.
From this year i.e. 2007 the Department is going to start M.Ed, the Master Degree program in Education affiliated to H.N.B Garhwal University, Srinagar, for which NCTE, Jaipur has awarded with 25 intakes. It is a one year course for which the fee will be decided by the management.
The Department of education at MIT places as strong emphasis and provides in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge. The institute has all the laboratories required for the success full running of B.Ed. and M.Ed. course.
The Department is equipped with the will qualified and experienced staff for the course. The main laboratories of the Departments are

MODE OF ADMISSION
The total seats of B.Ed. will be filled on the basis of merit by the candidates who appear and qualify in the entrance examination of B.Ed. conducted by the H.N.B. Garhwal University
The seats for M.Ed. course will be filled on the basis of merit, the marks obtained by the candidates in the B.Ed. examination
